Rooted in Heritage: Organic Web Design for US Market Entry

A custom WordPress/WooCommerce build supporting retail and wholesale operations for a sustainably-sourced chocolate and coffee brand expanding stateside.

We built a complete ecommerce platform for Mulukakao, a Nicaraguan chocolate and coffee company establishing their first US operation in Hattiesburg, MS. With a thriving wholesale and retail business in Nicaragua, they needed a system that could serve both channels in the American market. We developed a custom WordPress site using Elementor and WooCommerce that features dedicated retail location pages, a wholesale signup system with password-protected ordering, public ecommerce functionality, and rich storytelling pages about their sustainably-sourced products. The design reflects their organic ethos and Nicaraguan heritage through authentic imagery from their farms and operations, creating an immersive brand experience. With SEO-optimized structure, mobile-responsive design, and clear conversion pathways for both retail customers and wholesale buyers, we gave Mulukakao the digital foundation to successfully enter and grow in the US market.
